Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and retrieve specified items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanners.
- Verify product codes, descriptions, and quantities against order details.
- Pack selected items securely and appropriately for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage orders for quality control and subsequent packing or shipping processes.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to established standards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Meet or exceed productivity targets for order picking efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in regular inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Report any inventory discrepancies or equipment issues to supervisors immediately.
- Utilize safe lifting techniques when handling merchandise of varying weights.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Must be able to perform lifting tasks up to 50 lbs.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential.
- Willingness to follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
- Basic computer literacy and ability to use RF scanning devices.
