Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move, stack, and retrieve materials.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, trailers, and containers.
- Transport inventory to and from designated storage areas.
- Conduct pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any defects.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Keep the warehouse clean and organized, adhering to safety standards.
- Wear all required PPE during shifts.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure smooth workflow.
- Participate in safety training and implement learned practices.
- Handle lifting of palletized loads and other heavy items.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification and demonstrated experience.
- Thorough knowledge of forklift operating procedures and safety regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting heavy objects.
- Experience in a logistics or warehouse environment preferred.
