Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick specified items from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Inspect products for quality and accuracy before packing.
- Securely and efficiently pack orders using appropriate materials, ensuring product protection during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and prepare packages for dispatch to various shipping carriers.
- Maintain organized workstations and contribute to the overall cleanliness of the warehouse.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock replenishment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Support the broader logistics team in achieving daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a picking or packing role within a warehouse setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and understand order specifications and product codes.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, walking, bending, and lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of using PPE.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Dependability and a strong work ethic.
