You will be responsible for the upkeep, troubleshooting, and repair of various warehouse machinery, including forklifts, pallet jacks, conveyor systems, and other automated equipment. Your expertise will ensure that all equipment operates at peak performance, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. This includes the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times. The ability to perform moderate to heavy Lifting is essential, as tasks may involve moving and repositioning items. Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions.
- Ensure all equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and use required PPE.
- Assist with inventory and parts management for maintenance needs.
- Document all maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with the operations team to minimize equipment downtime.
- Demonstrate proficiency in basic electrical and mechanical repairs.
- Be prepared for tasks requiring significant Lifting of tools and parts.
- Contribute to a culture of safety and continuous improvement in Logistics operations.
