Senior Cloud Architect (AWS) - Permanent - £85-90k + car + bonus (25%) We are seeking a passionate and experienced Cloud Architect to join a dynamic team and be at the forefront of a technology transformation programmer all driven through innovative cloud solutions. As a senior member of the Cloud Centre of Excellence team, you’ll leverage your expertise to design, implement and optimise cloud infrastructure that drives performance, scalability and security. As this client continues to grow at scale, there is opportunity to for this role to grow and develop This is a pivotal role in the design and delivery of AWS hosted cloud infrastructure components in line with the clients strategy and aligned to the strategic cloud design. You will be equally as comfortable building a POC of a new solution as ‘picking up the pen’ and sketching an idea on a whiteboard to an agile team. You will work closely with the Project teams, to provide direction, prioritisation and technical insight in articulating and delivering architectural choices within various AWS services and solution methodologies. What are we looking for?
Technical Expertise: Proficient in the AWS cloud platform with a deep understanding of cloud services and infrastructure. Experience: A proven track record of deploying and managing cloud-based solutions in a professional setting. Problem-Solving Skills: Adept at diagnosing complex issues and implementing effective solutions to ensure system reliability and performance. Automation and Scripting: Experience with automation tools and scripting languages such as Python and/or Terraform to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Security Awareness: Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance. Collaboration: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and contribute to collaborative projects. Continuous Learning: A passion for staying updated with the latest cloud technologies, trends, and best practices, and a commitment to continuous improvement. Certifications: Relevant industry certifications including but not limited to AWS Certified Solutions Architect. What is in it for you?
Salary:
circa £85-90k per annum Annual performance related bonus:
