We are expanding our team in Seattle and looking for reliable Picker/Packers. Your role will involve meticulously selecting items for customer orders and preparing them for dispatch, directly impacting our logistics efficiency. This position requires diligence, speed, and an unwavering commitment to workplace safety , including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting techniques. You will be a key player in our order fulfillment process.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated warehouse locations using order lists or scanning devices.
- Verify product details and quantities against order specifications to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items appropriately for shipment, ensuring protection during transit.
- Stage picked and packed orders for carrier pick-up.
- Maintain a tidy and organized work area, contributing to overall warehouse orderliness.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, with care and adherence to safety standards.
- Strictly follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Wear and correctly use all required PPE , such as safety shoes and protective gloves.
- Assist with other warehouse functions as needed to support our logistics operations.
- Employ safe lifting practices to handle items weighing up to 50 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Prior experience in a warehouse picking or packing role is advantageous.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and speed in a dynamic work environment.
- Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform regular lifting tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Dedication to upholding all safety regulations and utilizing PPE .
- Basic understanding of warehouse procedures and logistics .
