About
We are looking for a precise and energetic Order Picker to join our bustling logistics hub in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role is central to our customer satisfaction, ensuring orders are fulfilled accurately and efficiently. The Order Picker will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment. A strong commitment to Safety and attention to detail are paramount. We provide a supportive team atmosphere and opportunities for career advancement within the logistics field. The successful candidate will be comfortable with physical tasks and dedicated to maintaining high standards. Usage of appropriate PPE is required at all times.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately identify and pick products from warehouse locations based on order sheets or scanners.
- Verify product codes and quantities to ensure order accuracy.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment to prevent damage.
- Stage picked orders in designated areas for further processing.
- Operate manual and powered pallet jacks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all Safety guidelines and company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory checks and stock rotation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding order status or issues.
- Contribute to overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience in order picking or a warehouse role is a plus.
- Ability to perform regular Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Familiarity with handheld scanning devices.
- Good understanding of warehouse Safety procedures.
- Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
