Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Utilize hand-held scanners and warehouse management systems to manage inventory.
- Verify that the correct products and quantities are picked to ensure order accuracy.
- Transport picked items to designated packing or staging areas.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment, following warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and wear necessary Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as safety glasses and gloves.
- Meet individual and team performance goals for picking speed and accuracy.
- Participate in inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Follow proper lifting techniques to safely handle merchandise.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed to support overall logistics flow.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is highly desirable.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail is essential for accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Capacity for lifting products weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work collaboratively with colleagues.
- Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all procedures.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong sense of responsibility in logistics.
- Basic familiarity with warehouse equipment and technology is a plus.
