Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary
Peak Health Medical Center is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) to provide Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) services via telehealth. This role is strictly focused on TRT and hormone optimization for male patients with clinically confirmed low testosterone and symptoms.

This is not a general primary care role. We are specifically looking for a provider who is comfortable prescribing and managing testosterone as a long-term therapy when medically indicated, following established clinical protocols.

This is a per-diem, visit-based role with flexible scheduling. No guaranteed hours.

Duties

• Conduct telehealth TRT evaluations for male patients with clinically confirmed low testosterone and related symptoms
• Review and interpret baseline and follow-up laboratory results, including:
• Total Testosterone
• Free Testosterone
• SHBG
• Estradiol (sensitive)
• CBC, CMP, PSA (as indicated)

• Determine patient eligibility for Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT) based on labs, symptoms, and medical history
• Prescribe testosterone replacement therapy in accordance with clinic protocols and Florida regulations
• Perform follow-up consultations to:
• Review lab results
• Adjust testosterone dosing when clinically appropriate
• Assess symptom improvement and side effects

• Authorize and manage testosterone refills (typically every 2–3 months)
• Provide clear patient education regarding TRT use, expectations, and monitoring
• Accurately document all encounters, assessments, and treatment decisions in the EMR
• Adhere strictly to Peak Health Medical Center's TRT protocols and clinical workflows
• Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure efficient, high-volume, telehealth-based patient care

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on experience prescribing and managing Testosterone Replacement Therapy (TRT)

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a TRT clinic, men's health clinic, hormone optimization, or wellness clinic
• Background in Family Practice (FNP) or Adult-Gerontology (AGNP)
• Experience managing TRT patients beyond initial prescribing (dose adjustments, follow-ups, refills)

• Familiarity with high-volume, membership-based or cash-pay clinical models

• Demonstrated experience evaluating male patients with low testosterone and related symptoms

• Proven ability to interpret hormone-related labs, including:
• Total Testosterone
• Free Testosterone
• SHBG
• Estradiol (sensitive)
• CBC, CMP, PSA

• Experience conducting telehealth consultations and managing patients remotely
• Comfort managing TRT as a long-term therapy when clinically indicated
• Experience following structured clinical protocols in a high-efficiency setting

Pay: $ $70.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 10 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Miami, FL 33186
