Job Overview
Position Summary: Provide support for PCs, servers, and networks. These duties include configuration, installations, and troubleshooting desktop, printer, software, and network problems. Provide instruction to users on software and perform regular maintenance on PCs and upgrade software. The IT Help Desk Coordinator will have the task of resolving complex issues and taking responsibility for maintaining a large amount of information and databases at two building locations. The IT Help Desk Coordinator also serves as the Health Provider Network Coordinator (HPN) through the Department of Health's website. Manages access to various systems, including, but not limited to, our web based electronic medical record system and VPN access.

Job Requirements:

  1. High School Diploma or equivalent, Associates Degree preferred.

  1. Minimum of two to three years professional experience in technology or help desk function, Microsoft certification and/or A+ certification preferred.

  1. Strong customer service.

  2. Ability to analyze problems and apply logical approaches to resolve them effectively

  3. Ability to work together with Repeat Business, our System's Managed Information Technology Services Company

  4. Familiarity with various operating systems such as Windows.

  5. Excellent organizational skills.

  6. Willing to handle support requests with courtesy and professionalism.

Essential Functions of the Job:

  1. Setup up accounts and workstations.

  2. Research, diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues

  3. Address critical issues such as hardware failures, software malfunctions and system performance problems

  4. Conduct preventive maintenance to ensure system stability and performance

  5. Upgrade systems with new releases and models

  6. Develop expertise to train staff in new technologies

  7. Setup and maintain all audio-visual hardware

  8. Work with vendors to maintain best practices across the IT spectrum

  9. Work with other departments when needed for IT or A/V setup.

  10. Equipment replacement/upgrades

  11. Ability to multitask and manage multiple events as required.

  12. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, internet, and email applications.

  13. Moves, adds, and changes – providing PCs, phones, and network connections as needed. Occasional installation of equipment.

  14. Escalate unresolved issues to Repeat Business with complete documentation and analysis

  15. Record keeping and updating documentation.

  16. Other duties as assigned

Physical and Mental Requirements:

  1. Must be able to lift up to 50lbs. when needed.

  2. Must have reliable transportation to get between two locations.

  3. Must be able to self-motivate and come up with solutions.

  4. Will have to come in occasionally on off hours for upgrades and maintenance and for any emergencies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $32.00 per hour
