Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring guest satisfaction by delivering high-quality service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and assisting guests with any inquiries to create a welcoming atmosphere.

Schedule

• On call (PRN) - Weekends as needed

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly with a friendly demeanor.
• Take accurate food and drink orders using the restaurant's point-of-sale system.
• Provide detailed menu information, including daily specials and recommendations.
• Serve food and beverages efficiently while ensuring presentation meets restaurant standards.
• Assist with bussing tables to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
• Handle cash register operations accurately, including processing payments and providing change.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders.
• Address guest inquiries or concerns promptly to enhance their dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and potential allergens to assist guests effectively.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy periods.
• Excellent guest service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and order calculations accurately.
• Ability to work as part of a team and assist colleagues when needed.
• Familiarity with cash register operations is advantageous but can be trained on the job.
• A willingness to learn about menu items and kitchen operations to better serve guests.
