A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in the Atlanta, GA area, serving a K-12 school setting through a contract position lasting the current school year. This role involves providing direct therapy services within the school district, with a strong emphasis on supporting students' communication needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students according to individual education plans.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
  • Adhere to district guidelines regarding service hours and caseload management.

Qualifications

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist licensure for the state of Georgia.
  • Current Department of Education certification for Georgia.
  • Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
  • Ability to commit to a 35-hour workweek with no overtime.

Location and Schedule:

  • Work is onsite at one school within the Atlanta Public Schools district, with priority placement at Sarah Smith Elementary School.
  • Other potential assignment sites include Centennial Academy.
  • Full-time schedule, 35 hours per week.
  • Contract duration from ASAP through May 28, 2026.
