About the Role

The Business Applications Manager is responsible for managing user access, system configuration, and project settings across multiple business applications within the organization. This role ensures smooth workflows by controlling user permissions, setting up project structures, managing document control, and overseeing the implementation of digital workflows. The Business Applications Manager will act as a key point of contact for project teams regarding platform usage, troubleshooting, and ongoing support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage user access, project settings, and overall system configuration within multiple business platform environments.
  • Control user permissions, set up project structures, manage document control, and oversee workflow implementation across various business applications.
  • Provide platform support, troubleshooting issues, and serve as primary contact for project teams regarding platform usage and operations.
  • Support integration of SaaS (Software as a Service) platforms with other business systems, collaborate with teams and SMEs to develop training materials, and maintain platform documentation.
  • Monitor platform performance, ensure security and compliance, and automate routine administrative tasks.
  • Coordinate with SaaS service providers and other vendors for support, updates, and issue resolution.
  • Collaborate with IT, sourcing, and business stakeholders to identify, document, and implement platform business solutions.
  • Plan and document best practices for application adoption, license provisioning, and user onboarding/offboarding.
  • Support the development and tracking of KPIs for platform adoption, usage, and user sentiment.
  • Evaluate and monitor applications to reduce redundancy and improve cost-effectiveness.
  • Foster ongoing partnerships with IT, vendor management, and department leaders to enhance digital transformation plans and increase organizational ROI, effectiveness, and agility.
  • Support identification and implementation of the most effective application and digital tools and solutions to drive business growth and productivity.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

We are looking for someone with the following competencies:

  • 5+ years of experience managing SaaS platforms or in a related discipline.
  • Experience in construction industry particularly in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) is preferred.
  • Relevant certifications in SaaS administration, cloud platforms, or related technologies.
  • Experience with a variety of SaaS tools (e.g., project management, collaboration, design, finance, HR, etc.).
  • Familiarity with integration of SaaS platforms into broader enterprise environments.
