Role: Oracle Cloud Payables Technical Architect

Location: Alpharetta/Atlanta (Locals preferred)

Type: Hybrid (3 days)

The Lead Business Analyst / Technical Architect will serve as a hybrid functional and technical leader for Oracle Cloud Payables and related customizations on Oracle Autonomous Transaction Processing (ATP). This role is responsible for translating complex business requirements into scalable technical designs, overseeing end-to-end solution architecture, and ensuring high-quality delivery through design reviews, testing oversight, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

Partner with business stakeholders to analyze, document, and validate business requirements in Oracle Cloud Payables and related financial modules.

Architect, design, and implement technical solutions leveraging Oracle Cloud Platform (including ATP, OIC, and extensions).

Review and guide development of technical components such as integrations, reports, and custom objects.

Conduct design walkthroughs, architecture validation, and code reviews to ensure compliance with best practices, scalability, and performance standards.

Define and oversee test scenarios, integrations testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for functional and technical workstreams.

Collaborate with Oracle Cloud functional teams, developers, and infrastructure resources to ensure seamless delivery.

Support issue resolution, root cause analysis, and optimization of Payables configurations and custom extensions.

Drive continuous improvement in solution design and documentation standards

Required Skills and Experience:

8+ years of experience with Oracle Cloud ERP (preferably Payables, Procurement, or Financials).

Strong expertise in Oracle Cloud Payables functional processes and configurations.

Proficiency in technical frameworks including Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), ATP, REST/SOAP APIs, and SQL/PLSQL.

Proven experience designing and implementing technical architecture for Oracle Cloud customizations and integrations.

Hands-on experience in performance tuning, debugging, and quality assurance.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Experience in Agile or iterative delivery environments
