About
Carroll Original Wear is seeking a Visual Communications Specialist/Sales Coordinator to join our growing team in our Boone, NC office. This position will be responsible for managing and executing creative projects that enhance the organization's brand visibility and communication efforts. The Visual Design and Communications Specialist will design high-quality visual materials across print and digital platforms while ensuring consistency with brand standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically skilled, and able to balance multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. This individual would also work directly with customers on designing custom designs and products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and execute design projects that strengthen brand visibility through innovative, high-impact graphics.
- Create compelling visuals for print publications, websites, and social media platforms.
- Create and design visual concepts for a variety of media, including logos, websites, social media graphics, advertisements, and product packaging.
- Collaborate with marketing teams, copywriters, and other stakeholders to develop and implement design solutions that meet business goals.
- Prepare rough drafts, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions into final designs.
- Manage and organize design assets, such as photographs and video files.
- Develop professional handouts, newsletters, and event signage from concept to final production, creating visually engaging layouts with custom graphics.
- Utilize professional skills like Excel to help with project management, budget tracking, or creating reports related to design projects.
- Work with customers to help design and sell.
Requirements:
- Excellent written, verbal and graphic communication skills
- Self-motivated with strong organizational and intrapersonal skills to coordinate and manage multiple projects and deadlines while collaborating across several teams.
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator and Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn new technologies
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage time effectively.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Creative and strategic thinking.
- This position would also require some travelling.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field may be advantageous
Pay: $ $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
