Title: Security Guard

Schedule: 10-15 Hours/Week

Part- Time Hourly Position Monday- Wednesday Evenings

We are seeking a self-motivated individual who takes a lot of pride in their work. We need an outstanding individual to be a part of a wonderful team. The successful individual will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for students, visitors and employees.

§ Monitor the Campus facilities inside and outside

§ Provide light facilities clean up, inside and outside in the parking lot when needed

§ Greet individuals in a professional manner.

§ Receive and sort all mail and deliveries.

§ Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property

§ Inspect building and access points and permitting entry

§ Obtains help by contacting local Police department and other necessary first responders, as needed.

§ Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing management of violations to property

§ Completes reports by recording observations, information and occurrences when necessary

§ Contributes to team effort by accomplishing positive and safe results

§ Follow and ensure lock-up procedures for the safety of employees and students, and ensure that the building is properly locked and security when leaving for the evening.

§ Perform light facilities and equipment duties, such as assembly of office and classroom equipment and resources.

§ Other duties as assigned

Must possess a high school diploma/G.E.D. Prior law enforcement and/or military preferred but not required. Candidates must have a clean criminal record, be willing to work nights and possess good communications skills, both written and verbal. The ability to lift up to 30 pounds for Campus facilities and equipment needs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
