About the Opportunity:
The organization provides secure global connectivity, enhancing network performance and agility for people, places, applications, and clouds. It operates a global Tier 1 internet network and offers a comprehensive suite of cloud networking and managed solutions using advanced software-defined networking and security technologies. The Network Provisioning Engineer is responsible for designing, assigning physical services, and updating internal inventory records related to CFA for all globally provided services including DIA, IP Transit, MPLS VPLS, IP/SDWAN/Security services on net. The role also involves working with onsite technicians and clients to turn up new services, perform testing, and document results.
Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and modify network solutions ensuring service delivery integrity.
• Collaborate internally with sales, sales engineering, and project management teams.
• Create, modify, and maintain engineering processes, workflows, and documentation.
• Support customers through service acceptance by troubleshooting turn-up issues such as throughput and routing.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external parties to ensure efficient resource use and timely delivery.
• Contribute to the organizational knowledge base.
• Represent the organization technically at various levels.
• Manage and maintain client service resource allocations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Service Delivery, and Operations teams.
Requirements:
• Experience supporting a client's complete network deployment lifecycle.
• Ability to work with customer engineering teams to understand and implement network requirements.
• Develop physical and logical design solutions following engineering best practices.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills in English.
• 5+ years of experience in Network Design, Architecture, or Implementation.
• Network certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIS/JNCIP/JNCIE or equivalent focusing on MPLS, TCP/IP, VPN, BGP, QoS, IP Telephony, etc.
• Experience with Juniper equipment (PTX, MX, QFX, ACX, EX series).
• Working knowledge of other network services like DNS, DHCP.
• Experience interfacing with peering providers and facility management.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management principles.
