Summary

We are seeking a safety-minded CDL-A Driver with a proven work record to join our team at Hill Electric, Inc. In this role, you will be responsible for handling local pick-ups and deliveries, transporting materials and equipment to job sites across our service area, and supporting our warehouse operations. Key Responsibilities

Transportation & Delivery

• Safely operate company trucks to transport materials and equipment to various job sites.
• Plan and follow efficient routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Load and unload materials as required, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols are followed.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation of materials transported.
• Conduct routine inspections of vehicles to ensure they are in good working condition.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that arise.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Warehouse & Inventory Management

• Support warehouse organization and maintain inventory levels.
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment.​

Coordination & Communication

• Collaborate with team members to ensure project needs are met.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.
• Report any issues or concerns promptly.

Requirements

• Valid commercial A driver's license (CDL-A) required.
• Proven experience as a truck driver with a clean driving record.
• Strong knowledge of route planning and navigation skills.
• Ability to handle physical workload including loading and unloading materials.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment.
• Familiarity with various types of trucks and trailers is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
• Commitment to safety and compliance.
