We are seeking a driven and enthusiastic Retail Sales Representative to join our team. What You'll Do:

  • Regular travel within your designated region to build relationships with both existing and potential customers. This ensures consistent market presence and personalized service.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients via phone, email, and in-person interactions. Be a trusted resource by answering inquiries, explaining product benefits, and showcasing the latest offerings using samples and catalogs.
  • Effectively present products, highlighting their features, advantages, and the value they bring to customers. Tailor sales presentations to meet specific needs and encourage purchasing decisions.
  • Provide customers with accurate delivery estimates, ensuring timely and reliable service. Enter customer orders into the system and maintain clear, up-to-date records for tracking and fulfillment.
  • Track business transactions, customer feedback, and market insights, compiling reports to share with the team and management. Ensure a detailed overview of customer accounts, sales trends, and performance.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales managers.
  • Submit travel expenses accurately and on time for reimbursement on a biweekly basis, ensuring transparency and organization.
  • Assist in product deliveries as needed, ensuring that customer expectations are exceeded, and satisfaction is maintained.
  • Maintain confidentiality on internal communications and proprietary information. Engage in ongoing communication with management to align with company goals.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required; a degree in Business is a plus.
  • 2-3 years in sales, ideally in the lawn and garden industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills. Proficiency with CRM systems and order processing.
  • Your detail-oriented, with strong analytical skills and understanding.
  • You're a pro at building relationships and can manage multiple tasks while keeping everything organized and running smoothly.
  • You've got excellent communication skills and thrived in a team setting where collaboration is key.
