Position Summary

The Behavior Consultant works under the supervision of a (BCBA) to implement Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions in home, school, and community settings. The consultant supports individualized treatment plans, collects data, and collaborates with caregivers to promote meaningful behavior change.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
  • Provide 1:1 behavioral interventions across home, school, and community settings.
  • Collect and record data accurately to monitor client progress.
  • Assist in functional behavior assessments (FBAs) as directed.
  • Train parents and caregivers in evidence-based behavioral strategies.
  • Maintain consistent communication with supervising BCBA and treatment team.
  • Modify or adjust interventions only with BCBA approval.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and adhere to ethical and professional standards.

Qualifications

Applicants must meet one of the following pathways:

Option 1:

  • Licensed in Pennsylvania as a behavior specialist; and
  • Certified as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA).

Option 2:

  • Licensed in Pennsylvania as above; and
  • Completed 12 or more graduate-level credits in ABA; and
  • At least 1 year of ABA experience.

Option 3:

  • Licensed in Pennsylvania as above; and
  • At least 1 year of supervised ABA experience under a BCBA; and
  • Completed 40+ hours of formal ABA training.

Additional Requirements

  • Current clearances (PA Child Abuse, Criminal Background, FBI Fingerprinting).
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
  • Spanish (preferred)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $60.00 per hour
