Class A CDL Driver – Local Hauling (Cartersville, GA 30121)
Pay: $24.00–$30.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus (with continuous employment requirement)

We are hiring an experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team in Cartersville, GA Applicants must live within 45 miles of our location. This role supports our affiliated demolition company and requires a strong background in end-dumps, dump trailers, lowboy hauling, and heavy equipment operation.

Position Overview

• Haul 75-yard dump trailers with construction debris to local landfills
• Deliver and remove heavy equipment using lowboy / Kenworth tractor
• Cross-training available for roll-off hauling
• Work is local with multiple locations

Requirements

• Ability to use a tablet for orders and routing
• Ability to read and follow GPS routing and traffic patterns
• Capable of performing physical job duties (sitting, lifting, climbing, pulling, etc.)
• Strong driving and maneuvering skills
• Able to operate manual and automatic transmissions
• General mechanical knowledge of trucks
• Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Minimum 2 years CDL driving experience (waste industry experience a plus)

Minimum Qualifications

• Legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Minimum age: 25
• Valid Class A CDL
• Must be able to drive a manual transmission
• Valid DOT medical card (or ability to obtain prior to hire)
• No DUI/OVI in last 5 years; no more than 2 within last 10 years
• No license suspensions in the last 2 years
• No more than 2 minor violations in last 2 years OR 1 at-fault accident in last 3 years
• Must read and speak English well enough to follow directions, traffic signs, and safety protocols
