Position Summary:
The Senior Internal Audit Professional is responsible for the planning, execution, and reporting of internal audit projects in high-risk areas. This position is responsible for leading audit projects by coordinating with management of audit areas, completing testing and documentation, and communicating results and recommendations. This role requires strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills to ensure audit quality and compliance with regulatory standards, guide department personnel, and support departmental continuity when needed.
Qualifications/Experience:
- 4-6 years of related experience in Internal Audit.
- Strong understanding of internal audit standards.
- Strong knowledge of corporate governance, internal controls, and the roles of the Board of Directors, Supervisory Committee, management, and policies and procedures.
- Basic understanding of financial institution operations and functions.
- Able to operate computer and related computer applications, including Word and Excel.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Tough minded, persistent, and tactful.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good public relations abilities.
- Able to work well independently.
- Able to operate basic business equipment such as telephone.
Salary Range:
- Minimum - $69,092
- Maximum - $110,546
