Behavior Technician (ABA) / Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) – Colonial Heights, VA

Clinic-Based | Full-Time or Part-Time | $18.00–$22.00/hr (BT) | $22.00–$26.00/hr (RBT)

About the Role

Autism Center of Excellence is hiring team members to support children receiving clinic-based ABA services in Colonial Heights. This position offers structured training, clear expectations, and ongoing guidance from experienced BCBAs. Candidates may join as Behavior Technicians or as already-certified RBTs.

Position Highlights

• Location: Colonial Heights, VA
• Setting: Clinic-based ABA services
• Schedule: Weekday daytime hours
• Employment Type: Full-time or part-time
• Compensation:
• BT: $18.00–$22.00/hr
• RBT: $22.00–$26.00/hr

What You'll Do

• Provide one-on-one ABA sessions in a clinic setting
• Use treatment procedures developed by a supervising BCBA
• Support communication, social, play, and adaptive skill development
• Maintain accurate digital documentation
• Contribute to a positive, organized learning environment
• Communicate with supervisors and teammates to support consistency

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Dependable attendance and professional communication
• Ability to complete all required background checks

Preferred Qualifications

• Active RBT certification (training provided if not yet certified)
• Experience working with children
• Interest in ABA, education, psychology, or related fields
