Unarmed Security Guard

Overview
We are seeking a vigilant and professional Unarmed Security Guard to ensure the safety and security of our premises, staff, and visitors. This role requires a keen eye for detail, excellent conflict management skills, and the ability to respond effectively in emergency situations. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining a secure environment through proactive surveillance and adherence to safety protocols. Prior experience in law enforcement, military, or security is a plus, along with certifications in first aid and CPR.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol designated areas using CCTV systems and surveillance equipment to detect suspicious activity.
• Conduct regular security checks of the premises to prevent theft, vandalism, and unauthorized access.
• Enforce security policies and procedures while maintaining a professional presence at all times.
• Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, including medical situations, by providing first aid or CPR if necessary.
• Manage conflict situations with professionalism and de-escalation techniques to ensure safety for all parties involved.
• Document incidents accurately through detailed reports and maintain logs of daily activities.
• Assist with loss prevention strategies by observing customer behavior and preventing theft or damage.
• Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency services when required, providing support as needed.

Requirements

• Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is preferred.
• Certifications in first aid and CPR are highly desirable.
• Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and loss prevention techniques.
• Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
• Excellent observation skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and patrol large areas as needed.
• Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable).
• Must be reliable, discreet, and committed to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism at all times.

Night Shift

Pay: $ $19.50 per hour

Expected hours: 17.5 – 19.0 per week
