About
What You’ll Do…
Organise and analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights relevant to trading performance.
Use storytelling techniques to present data in an engaging and accessible manner, enabling partners to easily grasp trends, patterns, and strategic implications.
Create interactive and user‑friendly Looker dashboards that set the benchmark for excellence, meet the needs of the trading team and deliver actionable insights for traders and other partners.
Work closely with traders, and other partners to gather requirements, understand their needs, and translate them into visualisations and dashboards.
Support the development of smarter and more automated reports and models, required to keep pace with a competing and evolving industry.
Ensure compliance with departmental data governance policies and standards.
What We’re Looking For…
Demonstrated ability to analyse complex data sets, identify key insights, and present findings in a clear and actionable manner.
Experience with relational databases and SQL highly desirable.
Experience in data storytelling highly desirable.
Advanced use of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and tools for creating visual presentations.
Proficiency in Looker (or similar BI tools like Tableau, Power BI) is an advantage.
Experience using Python or R is an advantage.
Strong problem‑solving abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non‑technical partners effectively.
Solid attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality.
