About
Design & Projects Engineer
to own bespoke mechanical design projects from concept through to completion.
You’ll be producing high-quality drawings, managing BOMs, supporting new product development, and driving cost‑effective improvements across materials, components, and labour.
What you’ll do
New product development and bespoke mechanical design
Update and maintain drawings (AutoCAD + 3D CAD)
Manage BOMs and support material ordering
Deliver multiple projects to deadlines
Conduct site surveys and translate findings into detailed drawings
What you’ll bring
Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and design for cost
Confident communicator and practical problem solver
Experience in weighing / industrial / manufacturing environments is advantageous
Full‑time | Mon–Fri, 8:00–4:00
Location: MWS Ltd, LE4 3EH
Benefits: NEST pension (after 6 months), 26 days holiday + Birthday + Christmas Eve (if weekday)
