Senior Technical Engineer

Job Duties

Design, implement, and test embedded software and firmware for Android, Ubuntu, and Linux-based platforms. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define system specifications and ensure alignment between hardware schematics and software interfaces. Bring up and integrate peripheral components such as Watchdog ICs, PCIe switches, and camera modules. Develop device drivers using C/C++, ensure system memory integrity with tools like Valgrind and BPF, and conduct performance profiling. Perform unit and integration testing aligned with latency and reliability targets. Utilize Git for source control and JIRA for issue tracking. Participate in code reviews, document technical processes, and present findings to internal teams. Stay current with advancements in embedded systems and apply emerging technologies in project design.

Knowledge and skills applied:

• Proficiency in C/C++, Linux Kernel (4.19, 5.4, 5.15), and Linux Device Tree.

• Experience with platforms including Android T/S, Ubuntu 16.04/18.04, and Yocto Project.

• Familiarity with peripheral device integration and embedded hardware/software interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART).

• Proficient in debugging, performance profiling, and use of measurement tools (Multimeter, Oscilloscope).

• Knowledge of embedded development tools, compilers, and IDEs.

• Experience with source control (Git), testing tools (Jenkins), and issue tracking (JIRA).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science + 5 years of experience.
