Cardinal Door is a leading provider of residential and commercial overhead door systems. With a commitment to quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, we serve a wide range of clients across the St. Louis Metro. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Overhead Door Installer to join our growing team.

JOB SUMMARY:

The Overhead Door Apprentice will be responsible for the installation, service, and repair of commercial overhead door systems, including sectional doors, rolling steel doors, openers, and related components. Looking for experienced hardworking technicians to service and install commercial overhead doors. We have been in business for 39-years servicing St. Louis and surrounding areas.

DUTIES AND ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Install and service commercial overhead door systems
• Diagnose issues and perform repairs on door systems, openers, tracks, springs, and related hardware
• Use hand and power tools to complete installations accurately and safely
• Read blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings to complete jobs per specifications
• Interact professionally with customers, contractors, and team members
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Accurately complete job tickets, timesheets, and other required documentation
• Follow safety procedures and company policies at all times
• Be a member of the Overhead Door Union/Carpenter's Union or willing to join upon hire

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to stand for extended periods of time.
• Able to lift up to 80lbs.
• Ability to work in various weather elements.
• Ability to use various hand tools
• Able to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to customers and team members.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, co-workers and customers.
