About Bogey's Mix

Bogey's Mix makes fresh, human-grade dog food in our commercial kitchen in Leesburg, VA. Our turkey recipe has the highest turkey protein of any fresh dog food brand and is never frozen, always fresh, and more affordable than competitors. We're growing quickly across the DMV and building a brand dog parents genuinely trust.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced content creator who knows how to produce short-form content that performs. This role is focused on creating engaging, high-quality video content for Instagram, TikTok, and other social platforms.

You'll work closely with the founders to shape content strategy, execute quickly, and turn everyday moments into scroll-stopping content that drives real engagement and subscriptions.

What You'll Do

• Create short-form video content optimized for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and social platforms
• Film on location at our kitchen, events, and with dogs and customers
• Edit content with strong hooks, pacing, captions, and clear calls to action
• Collaborate with founders on content ideas tied to brand growth and performance
• Stay current on trends and adapt them to fit the Bogey's Mix brand
• Deliver consistent, high-quality content on a weekly production schedule

Tools & Creative Stack

You'll have the freedom to use and experiment with modern creative and AI tools to move fast and produce high-quality content, including:

• CapCut and Descript for short-form video editing, captions, and fast iteration
• Runway AI and Sora 2 for advanced video generation, enhancement, and creative experimentation
• ChatGPT 5 and Gemini for scripting, ideation, hooks, captions, and content strategy
• SunoAI and ElevenLabs for original audio, music, and voiceovers
• Canva Pro and Midjourney for thumbnails, visuals, and brand assets
• Metricool or similar tools for scheduling, analytics, and performance insights

We care more about output and performance than which tools you use. Strong creative judgment and speed matter more than tool loyalty.

Who You Are

• Proven experience creating short-form social content for brands or personal channels
• Comfortable filming and directing on camera
• Strong editing skills for mobile-first platforms
• Understands what drives engagement, retention, and conversion
• Organized, reliable, and able to work independently
• Dog-friendly and comfortable working around pets

Bonus, Not Required

• Experience with paid social or performance-driven content
• Photography experience
• Familiarity with AI-driven creative workflows
