Job Overview
Kafe Krave is seeking an experienced and motivated General Manager to oversee the daily operations of our new hybrid coffee and cocktail lounge. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, hands-on management experience in hospitality, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.

This role involves managing staff, driving operational performance, overseeing coffee and bar service, maintaining inventory and labor targets, and ensuring a smooth guest experience throughout morning café service and nighttime lounge hours. The General Manager will work closely with ownership to establish standards, build the opening team, and create an environment that reflects our warm, high end atmosphere.

Duties

  • Lead and supervise all daily operations, including coffee service, bar service, staffing, guest relations, and overall facility management.
  • Hire, train, schedule, and develop team members to maintain high service standards.
  • Create and implement operational procedures, training guides, and service workflows.
  • Oversee baristas, bartenders, and support staff to ensure consistent execution and professionalism.
  • Manage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and cost controls.
  • Monitor labor, COGS, and operational expenses to meet financial targets.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards.
  • Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment that aligns with the Kafe Krave brand.
  • Partner with ownership to plan menu rollouts, events, promotions, and operational improvements.
  • Support growth initiatives and help develop systems for future locations.

Requirements

  • Proven management experience within the food service industry, including restaurant management, hospitality management, or kitchen management roles.
  • Strong leadership skills with previous supervising or team management experience; ability to train staff effectively.
  • Familiarity with inventory control, budgeting, and cost analysis to optimize operational efficiency.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence.
  • Ability to manage shift schedules efficiently while maintaining high-quality service standards.
  • 3+ years of restaurant, bar, coffee shop, or hospitality management experience.
  • Knowledge of both front-of-house and bar operations (coffee + cocktails is a plus).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70, $150,000.00 per year
