Chipshot is Jacksonville's newest destination for indoor pickleball, golf simulators, and gastropub dining. We combine competitive indoor sports with craft food, a self-pour beer wall, and an incredible guest experience.

Position Overview

The Cook at Chipshot plays a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience. You'll prepare high-quality food with consistency and efficiency, maintain a clean and organized kitchen, and work closely with your team to ensure smooth service throughout every shift. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about great food and great hospitality.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, and present menu items according to Chipshot recipes and standards.
• Maintain high levels of food quality, consistency, and presentation across all dishes.
• Follow proper food-handling, storage, and sanitation procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work station and kitchen environment.
• Work with the kitchen team to ensure efficient service and timely ticket execution.
• Assist in receiving and storing deliveries; rotate stock to minimize waste.
• Communicate effectively with Front of House staff and Management to support smooth operations.
• Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and PPE.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented work culture.

Qualifications

• Prior cooking or kitchen prep experience required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• Strong knife skills and understanding of basic cooking techniques.
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and kitchen best practices.
• Good communication skills and a team-first attitude.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability on nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
