Job Description and Responsibilities

This is a full-time on-site role as a Speech and Language Pathology Assistant serving a school located in Oklahoma City, OK. The Speech and Language Pathology Assistant will be responsible for assisting in providing diagnostic and therapeutic services for students with communication disorders.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or Certificate as a SLPA
• State license as a SLPA
• Experience working with children required
• Experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
• Organizational and time management skills
• Proficient in use of technology
• Fingerprint background clearance
• Ability to collaborate with school staff and parents with a demonstrated ability to exercise a high level of tact and discretion in both internal and external communications

Physical Requirements

If applicable, working and playing with students requires that employees must be able to perform the necessary physical movement functions, as needed, such as lifting, sitting, walking, standing, crawling and engaging with students in all physical locations and activities.
