HIRING FOR UNARMED ON-CALL PATROL SECURITY GUARD
We are seeking an Unarmed Security Guard- to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises as well as identify risks to staff and patrons.
This assignment is on-going call response response detail. A driver license is a requirement. Company vehicle will be used.
Responding to burglary and fire alarms and other calls for the locations.
Hours are:
Saturday weekly (16 hr. shift)
Sunday weekly (16 hr. shift)
Monday weekly (8 hr. shift)
Responsibilities:
- Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules
- Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
- Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
- Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
- Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
- Request emergency personnel for high risk situations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security preferred
- Valid Arizona Security Guard Card
- Valid Drivers License
- Familiarity with security equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Familiar with technology and reporting

Duties
- Monitor access points to control entry and exit of employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors with professionalism and courtesy.
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity around the premises, identifying potential security risks or suspicious behavior.
- Perform routine inspections of the facility's perimeter, entrances, and interior areas to deter theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access.
- Respond promptly to security incidents or emergencies by following established protocols; communicate effectively with law enforcement or emergency responders when necessary.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, visitor records, and surveillance footage for accountability and reporting purposes.
- Assist in loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting suspicious activities that could lead to theft or damage.
- Provide first aid or CPR if needed, demonstrating readiness to handle medical emergencies with confidence and care.
- Enforce safety policies while managing conflicts calmly and professionally to de-escalate tense situations efficiently.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in security, law enforcement, military service, or related fields is highly desirable.
- Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred; willingness to obtain these certifications if not already held.
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV technology is advantageous.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Familiarity with loss prevention techniques and security best practices.
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods while maintaining alertness throughout shifts.
- Excellent communication skills with a professional demeanor when interacting with diverse individuals.
