B. Tait Builders is a family-owned and operated General Contractor and Construction Management firm based out of Pennsauken, NJ. Our company has grown to be one of the most reputable General Contracting companies in the area, with a reputation of quality and client-retention. B. Tait Builders specializes in turn-key "Design-Build" projects, commercial/industrial, fit-outs, conventional construction, and total site work projects.

With our ever-increasing sales and design projects, we are currently seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to join our team You will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects & superintendents.

Responsibilities:

· Oversee various superintendents on active construction projects from mobilization to completion; manage superintendent responsibilities (ex. 2-week look aheads, utility application requests, project close out docs)

· Be the liaison between our clients, our office and our subcontractors

· Work collaboratively with controller & ops manager on monthly billing

· Ability to thoroughly review/understand subcontractor scopes of work and developing subcontractor agreements maximizing coverage

· Creating/submitting change orders, RFI's and documentation review

· Ability to manage multiple projects at a time

· Interface with project/municipal inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients.

· Negotiate with subcontractors to maintain project budgets at buy-out, and receive reasonable change order costs as required.

· Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications.

*Regional travel required.

Qualifications:

· Minimum 5-7 years overall construction project management experience , with an emphasis on quality and schedule deadlines a strong plus.

· Procore experience is a plus

· Previous experience in construction (hands-on or management/estimating)

· Familiarity with construction scheduling; including Microsoft Project

· Ability to read civil, architectural, structural & MEP plans

· Strong leadership qualities

· Strong negotiation skills

· Deadline and detail-oriented

· Must have a valid drivers' license and clean driving record

· MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Project) experience is required
