Maintenance Apprentice (Full-Time)
Location: Tooele, UT (Manufacturing Facility)
Reports To: Operations Manager
Job Summary
The Maintenance Apprentice supports North American operations by assisting with routine and preventative maintenance at our manufacturing facilities. This role focuses on improving equipment reliability, productivity, and operational efficiency while promoting a strong safety culture and our We Are One values. The ideal candidate is mechanically and/or electrically inclined, safety-focused, and eager to grow within an industrial manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
· Assist with routine, preventative, and corrective maintenance of manufacturing equipment
· Monitor equipment status and address issues promptly
· Support continuous improvement of maintenance processes and operational efficiency
· Follow and enforce all safety policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
· Promote and model the company's We Put People's Safety and Integrity First philosophy
· Coordinate with production and support teams to minimize downtime
· Assist in implementing operational and maintenance plans
· Support compliance with IFTA, DOT, and ATF requirements
· Maintain accurate maintenance, QC, and operational records
Required Skills & Competencies
· Mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
· Basic leadership and ability to work independently or in a team
· Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
· Commitment to safety and standard operating procedures
· Effective communication and organizational skills
· Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, and general computer systems
· PLC troubleshooting and programming experience preferred
· Working knowledge of industrial equipment and systems
Education & Experience
· Mechanical and/or Electrical certification or accreditation preferred
· Minimum 3 years of industry experience in mining, explosives manufacturing, or a related industrial environment
· Experience maintaining QC records and documentation
Safety & Compliance Requirements
· Ability to pass ATF Employee Possessor background check (no felony convictions)
· Must pass DOT drug screening
· Completion of required safety training, including:
o Hazard assessments
o Emergency procedures
o Task training and reporting
· Willingness to sign off on all company policies and procedures
Work Environment
· Manufacturing and industrial setting
· Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles
Physical Requirements
· Ability to stand, walk, kneel, crouch, and climb for extended periods
· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally and 10 pounds frequently
· Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral, and color vision
Schedule & Travel
· Full-time, Monday–Friday
· 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. (40 hours per week)
· Primarily local travel; occasional overnight travel may be required

Pay: $65, $95,000.00 per year
