In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring their safety, well-being, and quality of life. You will assist clients in daily living activities and promote their independence while fostering a positive and supportive environment.

DSP needed in "Middlesex County"

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and housekeeping.
• Foster independence by teaching life skills and encouraging personal growth.
• Support individuals in participating in community activities and building social connections.
• Document daily progress and communicate effectively with team members and families.
• Support clients in community integration and participation in social activities.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of living spaces, including cooking and cleaning tasks.
• Foster meaningful relationships with clients while promoting dignity and respect in all interactions.
• Adhere to HIPAA regulations to maintain confidentiality of client information.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to helping others.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification (preferred).
• Must pass background checks and meet state requirements.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $ $22.00 per hour
