Certified Medication Technician

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Certified Medication Technician (CMT)/CNA. In this role, you will provide care services to Residents while maintaining their safety and comfort. We are looking for an individual who excels in medication administration and upholds our core values of compassion, integrity, dignity, diligence, and community. Also, help out as a CNA when needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of medication dosages and times administered
• Administer medications following established protocols and procedures
• Monitor patients for any adverse reactions to medications and report findings to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure proper medication management
• Manage medication supplies and complete required audits and documentation.
• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Assist residents with meals and snacks
• Ability to lift and assist patients with care tasks

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Certified as a CMT (Certified Medication Technician)
• Active CNA License in Georgia
• Prior experience in medication administration within a healthcare setting
• First aid and CPR-certified
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and handle medications responsibly.
• Competent in documenting care and managing medication procedures.
• Effective communication skills, capable of engaging with residents and their families.
• Compassionate, respectful, ethical

As a Certified Medication Aide, you will play a vital role in maintaining the well-being of our patients and contributing to the standard of care they rightfully deserve.
