As an Engineering Procurement Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the sourcing, procurement and delivery of complex, technical hardware. This includes creating purchase orders from purchase requisitions, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of all necessary information, and adherence to the purchasing process checklist. You will also be responsible for working closely with vendors for qualification and monitoring of in-process orders. We are looking for our specialists to apply their technical expertise in quality assurance, and problem solving skills, to positively impact the future of energy

Responsibilities
  • Own the RFQ and sourcing process for custom parts, collaborating with engineering and cross-functional teams to translate purchase requisitions into RFQs, evaluate supplier quotes, and convert approved selections into purchase orders.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships; manage daily communications, request and evaluate quotes, and negotiate pricing, lead times, and basic contract terms to support cost, quality, and schedule goals.
  • Serve as the liaison between Engineering and suppliers for all Xcimer-designed components.
  • Track order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery; identify and resolve issues such as delays, quantity discrepancies, and documentation needs.
