About
Our Boston, Massachusetts warehouse is looking for a diligent and energetic Warehouse Worker to contribute to our daily operations. This role is multifaceted, involving various tasks within the warehouse, including receiving, stocking, picking, and shipping. You will play a vital part in maintaining the flow of goods and ensuring that our logistics processes run smoothly and efficiently. A commitment to safety and teamwork is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and stock items appropriately.
- Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of hazards.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines, including the mandatory use of PPE.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to operate warehouse machinery, including forklifts, is a strong asset.
- Must be able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and a commitment to a safe work environment.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding logistics setting.
- High school diploma or GED required.
