Join our team as a Material Handler at our Boise, Idaho location! We need a motivated individual to manage the flow of materials within our warehouse. Your primary duties will involve operating material handling equipment, transporting goods, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy. This is a hands-on role that requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to Safety. You'll be a vital link in our logistics network, ensuring materials are moved efficiently and securely. We provide all necessary training and require adherence to stringent Safety guidelines and the consistent use of appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Experience with pallet jacks, forklifts, and heavy Lifting is essential.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Transport materials to and from production, storage, and shipping areas.
- Assist with inventory management and stocktaking.
- Inspect equipment regularly and report any issues.
- Ensure that all materials are handled and stored correctly.
- Follow all company Safety procedures and wear required PPE.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar role.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus.
- Ability to perform heavy Lifting (up to 60 lbs) regularly.
- Good understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Strong focus on Safety and adherence to procedures.
- Willingness to wear PPE at all times in designated areas.
