Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other powered industrial equipment safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from delivery trucks and containers.
- Transport goods to and from designated warehouse locations, including storage racks and staging areas.
- Perform daily inspections of forklift equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including stock rotation and cycle counts.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
- Adhere strictly to all company safety policies and procedures, including mandatory PPE usage.
- Follow established logistics and workflow processes.
- Collaborate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members.
- Participate in regular safety training and continuous improvement programs.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift operator certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent forklift operating experience in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Thorough understanding of forklift safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience with various types of material handling equipment is advantageous.
- Strong spatial awareness and good hand-eye coordination.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding logistics setting.
- Commitment to wearing all required PPE.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
