Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and report discrepancies.
- Accurately pick and pack orders based on customer specifications, ensuring quality and correctness.
- Operate material handling equipment as needed, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Stage outgoing shipments for delivery, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and housekeeping standards.
- Assist with inventory management tasks, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, with a strong emphasis on safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned by warehouse management to support overall operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution center experience preferred.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching for extended periods.
- Must be able to consistently lift up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety procedures and the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Understanding of logistics principles is a plus.
