We are seeking a motivated and reliable Material Handler to join our dynamic logistics team in Los Angeles, California. As a Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in the efficient movement of goods within our distribution center. Your responsibilities will include receiving, processing, and distributing materials as well as managing inventory and ensuring a clean and safe work environment. Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling of all materials.
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory management to maintain accuracy.
  • Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
  • Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against purchase orders and shipping documents.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Identify and report any damaged or missing materials.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and shipments.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and meet productivity goals.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is a plus.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting of up to 50 lbs regularly.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
  • Commitment to adhering to all safety guidelines and wearing required PPE.
  • Forklift certification is an advantage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
