We are looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our logistics team in Columbus, Ohio. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from inventory, meticulously packing them for shipment, and ensuring orders are processed efficiently. This position involves a high degree of accuracy and physical activity, including regular Lifting. You will be an essential part of our distribution center's success, directly impacting customer satisfaction. We provide thorough training on all warehouse procedures, equipment, and Safety protocols, including the mandatory use of PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and pick items from warehouse shelves using pick lists or scanning technology.
- Inspect picked items for any damages or defects.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently, selecting appropriate packaging materials.
- Ensure all packages are correctly labeled for shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to optimize workflow.
- Assist in maintaining inventory accuracy by reporting discrepancies.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and wear required PPE.
- Perform duties involving moderate Lifting and manual handling.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic inventory principles.
- Ability to perform tasks requiring moderate Lifting.
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
