About
We are looking for a motivated Material Handler to join our team in the vibrant city of Orlando, Florida. This role is crucial for maintaining the flow of materials within our distribution center, ensuring that products are moved, stored, and organized efficiently and safely. You will be responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, utilizing material handling equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, and transporting goods to their correct locations. Accuracy in tracking inventory and maintaining detailed records is essential. A commitment to upholding high standards of Safety and utilizing all required PPE is paramount. This position offers a stable work environment and opportunities for growth within the exciting field of Logistics . Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming materials for damage or discrepancies.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move materials safely.
- Transport goods to designated storage areas, production lines, or shipping docks.
- Accurately record all material movements and update inventory systems.
- Perform routine checks on equipment and report any malfunctions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment, prioritizing Safety .
- Assist with inventory control activities, including cycle counts.
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including proper Lifting techniques.
- Utilize all assigned PPE diligently.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the warehouse Logistics .
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Prior experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role. Certification on forklift operation is a significant advantage. Physical ability to perform demanding tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Understanding of warehouse management principles. Strong commitment to workplace Safety and adherence to all safety regulations. Familiarity with Logistics processes. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Must consistently wear and use provided PPE .
