Join our growing team as an Order Picker in Minneapolis, Minnesota! We need dedicated individuals to accurately fulfill customer orders within our distribution center. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are picked, packed, and staged correctly for timely delivery. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and committed to upholding the highest standards of workplace safety . You will be responsible for selecting items from various locations in the warehouse, ensuring the quantity and item code match the order. We emphasize accuracy and efficiency, providing a dynamic work environment where your contributions are recognized. This is a great opportunity to gain valuable experience in a thriving industry. You'll work closely with a team to meet daily picking quotas and maintain inventory accuracy. Your diligence in following procedures and maintaining a safe workspace is critical. We encourage candidates who are proactive and reliable to apply. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks is essential. Proper use of all provided PPE is mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Retrieve products from designated warehouse locations using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order requirements.
- Package products securely for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other material handling equipment as needed.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
- Follow all company protocols for inventory management and order fulfillment.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
- Understand and practice all Safety regulations.
- Must be able to handle moderate Lifting of products up to 30 lbs.
- Ensure correct usage of PPE at all times.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, retail, or similar environment is beneficial.
- Basic understanding of warehouse inventory systems.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Strong focus on accuracy and detail.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Familiarity with general logistics principles.
