We are looking for a proactive Material Handler to join our warehouse team in Raleigh, North Carolina. This position is crucial for ensuring the smooth flow of materials within our facility, supporting our extensive Logistics operations. Your duties will include loading and unloading trucks, operating pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified), transporting materials to various workstations, and ensuring proper storage and organization of inventory. A high degree of attention to detail and an unwavering commitment to Safety are essential. Compliance with all company policies, including the mandatory use of PPE , is required. This role involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting and moving of heavy items. We are dedicated to creating a safe and supportive work environment for all our employees. Responsibilities:
- Efficiently load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move materials throughout the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Accurately identify and stock inventory.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Conduct routine checks on material handling equipment.
- Adhere strictly to all Safety protocols and wear assigned PPE .
- Assist with inventory counts and support overall Logistics functions.
- Perform tasks involving frequent Lifting and manual handling of goods.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
- Ability to perform frequent and heavy Lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Experience operating pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Familiarity with basic warehouse operations and Logistics .
- Strong commitment to workplace Safety and correct use of PPE .
- Physical stamina and ability to work in a demanding environment.
