We are actively recruiting an Order Picker for our state-of-the-art facility in San Antonio, Texas. This critical role ensures the accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders, playing a direct part in our logistics success. As an Order Picker, you will meticulously gather products based on order specifications, ensuring high levels of accuracy and efficiency. This involves reading pick lists or using electronic scanning devices to locate items within the warehouse. Double-checking product codes and quantities against the order is a core part of the job to minimize shipping errors. A clean and organized work environment is essential for smooth operations and safety. Compliance with all company safety policies, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE), is mandatory. The role requires regular lifting of items, potentially up to 50 pounds. We seek individuals with a strong commitment to detail, a robust work ethic, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced logistics setting. Previous warehouse experience is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Select items from warehouse shelves according to order sheets or scanner instructions.
- Verify product names and quantities against customer orders.
- Package items appropriately for safe delivery.
- Operate manual pallet jacks and other relevant equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use designated PPE.
- Assist with stocktaking and inventory checks as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned to support the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Physical ability to undertake frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Capacity to work productively alone or as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and the importance of PPE.
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage workload efficiently.
- Dedication to ensuring smooth logistics operations through precise order fulfillment.
