Manage the mechanical design lifecycle from concept development to detailed design, construction support, and commissioning. Lead and influence design strategy for high-performance data centre projects in a mission-critical context. Work with HVAC systems, chilled water networks, CRAC/CRAH units, fire protection systems, and other mechanical systems to meet the demands of hyperscale and colocation data centres. Ensure compliance with Uptime Institute Tier standards, ASHRAE guidelines, and European regulations while driving energy efficiency and resilience. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, support technical leads, manage client relationships, and mentor junior engineers. Qualifications
Strong mechanical services background, ideally in mission-critical environments. Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, IES VE, and CFD software; knowledge of thermodynamics and energy modelling. Chartered status is highly desirable. Experience and Seniority
