The AWS DevOps Engineer will work for a fast-growing software scale‑up in the Thames Valley Corridor.
The AWS DevOps Engineer will earn £75,000 per annum.
The AWS DevOps Engineer will enjoy hybrid working on a 3+2 basis.
Familiar with IaC, PaaS and FaaS.
Execute scripts in Python and Bash.
Identify defects in CI/CD pipelines.
Carry out regression testing and code and infrastructure changes.
Leverage configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible and Terraform.
Monitor system performance and reliability.
Ensure server-based deployments are robust and manageable.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies.
Familiar with virtualization tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
Firm understanding of black box testing.
Experience with web-based applications.
Understand cloud security principles and best practice.
Familiar with code release and deployment mechanisms.
Used most version control systems e.g. Git.
Comfortable with bug tracking software.
Excellent understanding of DevOps principles.
